What does paraben-free mean?
Some mapping entries are tagged as paraben-free under ethics keywords.
Parabens are a group of preservatives widely used in toiletries and beauty products. In recent years there have been some studies showing traces of parabens in people with cancer, although no direct relationship between parabens and cancer has been conclusively established. However to be on the safe side some consumers prefer to use products which are paraben-free.
